Carroll was always an extremely logical man, constantly inventing
more effective methods to complete a task. This creative mind is something you would expect from the writer of Alice in wonderland.
Although he was an average student in secondary school, he was the valedictorian of Final Mathematical School. In 1855, he
began teaching as a Mathematical Lecturer at the University of Oxford. In 1881, a year before he proposed a cut in his own
salary, he resigned from mathematic lectureship so he could devote his full time to writing and mathematical studies. One
of Carroll's good friends observed about Carroll's communication “ 'all the while there seemed to be an odd logical
sequence, almost impelling your assent to most unexpected conclusions' ” (Cohen, 285).
Now there was a darker side to lewis carroll such as the love to photograph young girls. Now the
problem with this is that he liked them to be naked. Also he had more little girls over for tea then he had adults over.
Some say he would quiver with delight just thinking about playing with four or five little girls. He also had an obbesion
with eating and it show in his work. In the book Alice and Wonderland she would change size from eating and drinking things.
Then he devolped a second personality because he was born as Charles Dodgson and is know as Lewis Carroll.
